From Helen's Desk
Beginning June 26, the Governor is allowing capacity for events to be 50% of approved occupancy size or one person per 100 square feet of customer facing space. This change will allow for 50 people in the funeral homes at a time. The area churches have varying restrictions at this time so we will handle those numbers on an individual basis. Masks must be worn inside the buildings. We are still offering processional visitation as an alternate option as well as live streaming of services.
Currently, the order for outdoor events, in our case, services at the cemeteries, is up to 150 people and use of "common sense measures". This means that we can have larger groups but social distance between co-isolating groups should be maintained. In other words, families who have been quarantining together may stand together but should be 6ft. from other people.
We encourage everyone to show their love and support to the families of those who have passed by sharing condolences, memories, pictures, and videos on the Tribute Wall found on each individual’s obituary page.
